Prof. Trueblood has retnrned and cora raenced his classes in elocution. S. R. Ireland, law '89, secured the prize lor the cover of the S. C. A. Bulletin. The University glee club will commence their concert tour on April 22nd, sir.ging at Chicago that evening. Prof. Winohell has cal'ed upon his class in geolojjy to stand another examination upon that lobject The papers were so perfect that the ficulty viesved them with suspicion. The inter-fraternity Germán, which was to have been given at Nickel's hall torn orrow evening, has been po3tponed until after lent. The original date carne too soon after the junior hop. The senior laws for the first time in many years, lailed to listen to an pddress on Washington' birthday, last Friday. The committee could not find a prominent man who would undertake the job. Prof. Pottee returned from Philadelphia Saturday, where he made an inspection of the U. 8. mint at that place, as a member of the assay commission. While awav he alo visited Princeton college and Ñew York. Prof. Langley, who is absent on leave this year, is eoon to resign bis position in the University faculty and will accept a ositon with the Crescent Steel worka of Pittsburg. The family will remove to nat city shortiy. The senior laws have completed their I clsa organizition by the election of the following; S. R. lreland poet; J. N. Haley, base-tall captain : Capt. J. W. Jlclntyrè, chaplain : J. D. Armatrong, foot-ball captain; J. A. Chiles, sergeant-at-arms. While Prof. Steere and party were in the Pnillipine Islands they obtained a large number specimens f ir the University museum. The collection is arrivinz in installments and the third story of ihe museum building is nearly filled nov, although two hundred boxes are yet to come. The literary Adelphi programme for Sïturday evening is as follows: Zither solo, Mr. Burlsign; Esay, ''College Gradnates in Active Life," Mr. Coolidge; Reading, Mr. Tibbals; Debate, " Resolved, that prizes, to be assigned by competition, should be offered in the Univer.ity for excellenoe in echolarsliip, elocutiou and composition."
