With a week more of thls weather the river will open with the firstgale of wind. Detroit, llu-h., March 20.- The steamer City of Cleveland coaled and will begin her regular trips to Cleveland to-day or Thursday. LaJce Erie is elear of ice. Port Colborne, Ont, March 20.- The prospect fat BO early opening of navigation are favorable. The ice in the canal and harbor has g-one. Not so inuch Ice íorraed in tho lake this winter as lormerly, and it is dlsappearlng fast. If the weather continúes favorable the canal will be opee by the 15th of April.
