The Visit Of The Legislature
A n informal meeting of business uien and professors was held in President Angelí' office on Monday. The following comaaittees were appointed to look after the membera of the legislatura when they come tomorrow: Program: President Angelí and Prof. W. H. Pettee. Transportation : Harrlson Soule, A. W. Hamilton, E. H. Scott, J. E. Sumner. Entertainment: Mayor Beafces, Aid. Allmendiuuer, J. E. Beal, Dr. W. F. Breakey. Col. H. S. Dean. J. ï. Jacobs, T. J. Keech, Judije E. D. Kinne, Capt. U. H. Manly. A. L. Noble, E. B. Pond, A. J. 8awver, Fred. Schmid, Prof. Oalvla Thomas, J. H. Wade. Finance: Fred. Belser. J. R. Bach, O. Eberbach, Prof. C. 8. Deniton. Prof. A. B. Preecott, Prof. Henry Wade Rogere, J. V. Shtehan. The legislature ia expected to rrive at 10 a. m., tomorrow, over the M. C. R. R. lt the weather is fine, they will be taken in carriage8 about the city, and of course oyer Cadar Bend ave. In case the weather spoils the driving, they will be taken immediately to the museum on the campu. At 11 o'clock they will be taken to Univeríity íiall, where the s'.udents are expected to agsemb'ö in a body and behave their prettiesi. Speeches will fill the time till noon. The legislatora will be dined at the hotels, and will spend the afternoon in examininff the University. "The people of Aun Arbor deserve a fine depot," faiil A ïent Ilazelwood of the T. & A. A., Mocdny. "Our people will erect a better depot tbati they at first proposed. I think it will cost $5,000, and will resemble the Eist Sazinaw depot. The firat placs were f.ir a $3,000 depot. I don't thiok it is definitely decided vet to build it of wood; it msy be briuk."
