Couldn't Scare Him
LoNDON.Ont , April 18.- Tuesday afternooa about 8:ö() o'clock two strangersentered the banking office of F. S. Clarke, where Mr. Frank Clarko was alone bohind the counter. One of the meu presented a pistol at Clarke's hcad and rulled upon hiiu to deliver hls inoney. Mr. Clarke stood íor a moment in astonishment, and the order was repeated rather imperatively. "Hand out your money." The young man at once answered: "No, I won't," and reachingr quickly oyer the railing1 grasped the barrel of the plutol and turned it asido. The other straner was standing at the door oL the counter as if ready to pounce in and secure the cash on a favorable opportunity. Upon seeing the bold stond taken by Mr. Clarke and his evident determinatiou to fight botli men turned and ran out of the door and down liicümond Street. They wero not eaptured.
