The retroactive clause was killed, but an amendment was inserted that all warrante Issued for extradition should stlpulate that the person should be tried only for the offenae mentloned In the warrant. Procuring abortlon and breaches of truxt wero added to the crimes menĂ¼oned In the UU and black-malling and perjury were stricken out Ab passed the bill lncludes murder, counterfeiting, forgery, larceny, embezzlement, obtaining money on false pretenses, rape, abduction, burg-lary, arson, piracy, abortlon, breach of trust and any Ă³rlense con. Btrued as felony by Canadian law. The biU will doubtless pass the Senate in a few days. It will not affect persons now ia Canada charged wlth these offenses in the United Statea
