CoIUmbus, O., April 27.- Hon. Leo Welta, an excellent authority on crops and frults, has made an extended tour oí inspection of Ohio, and gives a glowing account of their condition at the present tima Ha eays that thousands of acres of corn havo been planted and that wheat is looking- excellent, and the yield promises to be farabove the average. The indications aro that there wiil be an overabundance of all kinds. The season is sufficlently advanced to assure thia result, nnlesa there is soma extraordinary occurrence to destroy the erop. So far as is known. there is no indicatión at thls time of a f allure of any particular kind of fruit, and he is of the opinión that it will be a prosperous year for tha farmers and fruit raiserg.
