Washington, May 10.- Secretary Nobla has receíved an interesting report from tha two Inspectora of the general land offlca who have been in Oltlahoma sinoe the Ter. rltory was opened. They give a graphio description of tha growth of tha town, tell about barber-shops, batir houses, Btreet-eprinklers, fire-enginea, and opera-houses being opened, and they say that Outhrie has now a pupulation of 0,000 male citlzena, leaylng the témale popolatlon to be esümated. With regard to the troables and complalnU tbat have como from thesa souroes they say: "Publlo contidence ñas been restored hera by the prompt action of the Government. Captain McArthur and Marshal Needlea hare aoted with great dltcrtmlnatioa, and too muoU praise can not be giren them." The report further says: "We Tisitcd the land office at Klnflsher and found the business proceedlng Ín a commeodable manner and tatlstaotorlly to all pañíes lnterested. We heard no complalnt of depuly marshals or other ofBcers maklnK entries of land contrary to law or to the detriment of settlera. The questlons of town sites are being quietly and satisfactorlly settled, and there is perfect security aere of both Ufa nd property."
