Dr. D. A. McLachlan left for Europe on Monday. D. L. Quirk, Ypsilanti banker, was in Ann Arbor, Monday. Miss Edith Seyler went to Detroit, Tuesday, to spend a few weeks. Clark Payne, of Wichita, Ks., visited his nephew, Dr. C. Q-. Darling, last week. Dr. C. G. Darling attended the State medical society in Kalamazoo, last week. Judge Cheever and son Will, and Fred. C. Clark and Samuel Grubbs expect to go to Europe in June. E. C. Ganrigues, law '80, praotioing in Minneapolis, has been called home by the sickness of his father, Dr. Garriguee, of this city. Louis Liesemer, editor of the Post, was called to Detroit on Saturday to address the combined Landwebr societies of the state at the Arbieter hall. Supt. Perry, of the high school, and Prof. Hinsdale attended the meeting of the State association of School Superintendent in Lansing last week. Mrs. Eliza A. Rathbone, of Ann Arbor, Michigan regent of the Mount Vernon Ladies' association, was in Washington, D. C, last week, and attended the council of regents at Mt. Vernon, Washington's home.
