"ivory" Soap
TO preserve the richness of color or delicacy of tint of your summer dresses, make suds of hot water and Ivory Soap, allow to cool until lukevvarm, then wash your dresses in the solution. Ordinary soaps contain too much alkali, which in a short time bleaches the color and destroys its beauty. Prof. Silliman, of Yale College, says, "The Ivory Soap can not injure the most delicate fabric. " A WORD OF WARNING.
