There is a vacancy existing in each of these schools at present, to be filled from this district. The successful candidato for West Point must be not leas than 17 nor more than '2 years of age in June, 1890, and the candidate for the Naval Academy must be not less than 15 nor more than 20years of age September lst next. The examinations will be in reading, spelling, arithmetic, English grammar, descriptive geography and history of the IJ. Candidates must be physically sound, and a thorough examination by your physician would save disappointment from being rejected by the physician who will examine you at Adnan.
