Publlslier of Thk Register: last week about sidewalks. Tbere is one other thing to which the attention of our city fathers ehould be called. I refer to the trimming of our shade trees. It is all well enough to live in a forest, but let U9 have the under-brush cut out As it is, there are many places where for whole blocks the electric lamps do not throw a partiƫle of light upon the pavemente, while on some streets one is obliged to be continually on the watch to keep his bat from being brushed off by the low limbs on the trees. A few dollars could be spenttogood advantage in having these limbs removed 'rom a lage number of our shade trees. It would also be a good idea tor our city council to order about half the awningg in the city raised six nches or more.
