The Pilgrim Fathers

Pltmouth, Mass., Aug. 2- A National monument in honor of the Pilgrim Fathers was dedicated here yesterday. The cornerBtone of the monument was laid August 1, 1559. Completed, it has cost over $200,000, collectod trom all parts of the country. It is of solid granite throughout. Hon. W. C. Breckinridg-e, of Kentucky, deltvered the oration, and addresses were made by Lieutenant-Governor Brackett on behalf of the State, Senator George F. Hoar, Hon Henry Cabot Lodj;e, Hon. Willtam CofiswcJl, Hou. E. A. Morse, Hon. James G. Blaine and others.
