' At a session of the Probate C!ourt for the County of Washtenaw, holden at the Probate Office in the city of Ann Arbor. on Wednesdy, the 21st day of August, in the year one thousand eight hundred and eighty-nine. eresent, J. Willard Babbitt, Judge of Probate. In the matter of the estáte of Thomas S. Sanford, deceased. On reading andfiling thepetition. duly verifiod, of Benjamin Brown, executor, praying that he may be licensed to teil the Re&l Estáte whereof said deceased dted seized. Present, J. Willard Babbitt, Judge of Probate. In the Matter of the Estáte of Eli Benton, deceased. On reading and filing the petition, duiy verifled of Wüliam W. Wines, praymg that a certain instrument now on file in this court, purporting to be the last will and testament of said deceased, may be admitted to probate, and that he may be appointed executor thereof. Thereupon it is ordered, that Monday, the second day of September next, at ten o'clock in the forenoon be assigned for the hearing of said petition, and that the devisees, Icgatees, and heirs at law of said deceased, and all other persons interested in said estáte, are required to appear at a session of said Court, toen to be holden at the Probate Office in the City of Ann Arbor, and show cause, if any there be, why the prayer of the petittoner should not be granted : And it is further ordered. that eaid petitioner give notice to the persoos interested in said estáte, of the peudency of said petitton, and the hearing thereof, by causing a copy of this order to be published in the Ann Arbor Register, a newspaper printed and circulated in said county, three successive weeks previous to said day of hearing. Whereas defauit having been made ia the conditions of three several mortgages executed by AULUtus M. Britton and Hamantha M. Britton, bis wife, to Mre. S. S. Cowles, the first mortgage bearing date the 28th day of June, 1879, and recorded in the office of the Register of Deeds for Washtenaw County, Michigan, on the first day of Ju'.y, 1879, in Liber 58, of mortgages, on page 95. The second mortgage bearing date the 7th day of July. 188S, and recorded in the office of the Register of Deeds for Washtenaw County, Michigan, on the 12th day of July, 1883, in Liber 68, of mortgages, on page 304. The third mortgage dated July Sd, 1881, and recorded in the office of the Register of Deeds for Washtenaw County, Michigan, on the 7th day of July, 1884, in Liber 65, of mortgages, on page 207. On which three above described mortgages there is claimed to be due, at the date of this notice, the sum of S3194.26, for principal and Interest, and no action or proceedings at law or in equity having been instituted to recover the debt cured by said mortgages or any part thereof. Notice is hereby given that by virtue of a power of sale contained in said mortgages and of the statute in such cases made and proprovlded, the sr.id inortgages will beforeclosed by a sale of the mortgaged premises therein described. which sale will be made at the West door of the Court House in the Ciiy of Ann Arbor, in the County of Washtenaw and State of Michigan, at public auction.by the Sheriiiof said county, on Friday, the 2Sth day of October, A. D. 1889, at 2 o'clpck in the afternoon, to satisfy the amount wbich shall ihen be due on said mortgages, with the interest thereon and eosts and expenses of sale aud fcixty iive dollars attorney fee as stipulated in said mortgages in case of foreelosure The premises described in said mortgages to be sold as above speeified, are the lot, piece or paroel of land situated in Ihe City of Ann Arbor, Michigan, and known and described as follows: All of lot No. 6. block tive, Range ten (10), Kast Lawrence and Maynard'a addition to the Villege, now City, of Ann Arbor.
