Losses Caused By A Bursting Sewer

Phtladelphia, Aug. 27.- The bursting of a, sewer, due to recent heayy raine, caused damage in the Fifteemh and Twenty-ninth wardB Monday estlmated at 9100,000. Streets were torn up and waahed out, oellars tlooded, foundations and walls weakened and shattered and stocks of goods ruined. Many peraons narrowly escaped drowning, and the inhabitants of the district are fearful of fiirther disaster.
