Chicago, Sept. 2.- The annual Inter-State Industrial Exposition will begin at the Expo8ition Wednesday next, and will continue until October 19. ín money valué, in educational interest, in business importance and in attractive novelty, the material of this exhibition and arrangeinents for lts display have not been exceiled at any other local exhibition oí its class, here or elsewhere. The entire artgallery, embracing six rooms, is hung with the best examples of American art, and, as a representalive collection, has neverbeen equaled in magnitude or merit In manufaoturing processes, machiaery in operation and the products of industrial skill, the exhibition is espBclally rich and attractive. The exhibits by the States of Kansas, Colorado and California are interestinjj and important scientinc collections by the Chicago Academy of Science and others, embracing many recent acquisitions, and will command the attention of all studeuts of natural history.
