London, Sept 10.- In the boat race for L1,000 and the world'schampionship on the Th'ames on Monday Searle, the Australlan, deieated William O'Connor, champion of the United States and Canada. It is said that Canadians lost 1400,000 on the race. The distance rowed was four miles and three furlongs. Searle's time was Si:4.
