Edinbukg, Sept 7. - Sixty-throe men and boys have perished through the flre in the Maurice Wood pit near renicuik, Midlothian. Twenty-two bodies have been recovered. The tire is one of the most disastrous miiiing calamitiea that have ever befallen Scotland. ThurRday morning Bixty-five minera, including: a contingent of boys, went down the pit to prosecute their calling, and all buttwo have perished.
