Burglars Are Around
Burglars entered Noble's clothing store sometime Sunday night or Alonday morning, but were unrewarded for their trouble sa nothing has yet been missed. Walter Noble, one of the clerks, 6at in the store writing until after 11 o'clock Suuday night. White titting there he was disturbed ssveral times by ucusual sounds but supposed they came from the night watchman. Upon leaving he left a bright light burning. In the morning when he carne down the gal was turned low, and lour doors through which it is necessary to pass to enter the store from the rear, were all wide open. A careful examinadon was made, but nothicg is missed. It ia surmised that the burglars intended crscking the fafe, which contained nearly $500, but were fiighiened away by some outside noise. The work waa evidently that of professionals, as shown by the tnethod in which they opened four doors I to gain an entrance.
