Death Of Mrs. Mary E. Clark

Mrs. Mary E Jwards Clark died at the home of htr daughter, Mre. J. B. Tice, in Brighton last Fiiday, at the Bge of 84 years. The deceased was a widow of Rev. C. G. Clark, who lived ia this city for many years and died here in 1871. Mrs. Clark continutd to live here until the sumnaer of 1887, when she removed to Brigcton to live with her daughter. The deceased was bom at Víctor, N. Y., in 1805, and came to Michigan to live in 1839. She was a reinarkuble woman, of good judgement, marked abiliiy and charitable disposiüon, to her kindly beart many students owing their Uiiivertity education. She was a greatgrand da'ighier of Presideut Johnaihan Eiwards, the noted diviifc. The funeral was held at Brighton on Siindny.
