Editor of The Register: Through your columns I wish to inquire of those concerned, the evangelieal churchesof this city, whether the tima has not arrivei when a piecj of bigotry worthy the dark ges may not be dispensed with. I reter to the custom of not inviting the Unitarian church of this city to take part in the Thankagiving union service. They are invited to join the other churches to aid the poor in donation9 on Thanksgiving day, and I understand, though inferior in numbers, have responded more liberally than any other church. And in every Christian work they are not behind those who withhold from them the hand of Christian fellowship. Is not "doing the will" quite as good a test as discipleahip to the Master as saying "Lord, Lord!" If any one have ny doubt of this read Matthew xxiv, 24-46. The Unitarian people are goed enough to contribute to the needs of the deserving poor, but not good enough, owing to ïecknical theorieg of belief taken from the same bibie, to join in a service of Thanksjiving. Let us take another step next year, and have a unión Thankegiviug service as all inclusive as the Divine Comity which invites the common gratitude of all without reference to creed our church. A CONOREGATIONALIST.
