Charlotte, S. C, Nov. 30.- A very destructive cyclone passed over a portion of Buford County Thursday, doing great damage. Houses were blown down and trees torn up by the roots. The resldence of a farmer near Washington, th county seat, was blown to atoms and the entire family, consisting of father, mother and four children, was killed instan tly. A factory near Washington was blow down and two people killed, whilo % dozen othe'S received bad injuries. Miss Mattie Cheve, the pretty daughter of a farmer, was caught up on the cyclone and carried away by the wind. Hef body has not yet been found. Report so far are very meager, and it is impossible to obtain the names of all killed.
