Died - At her home in this city on Dec. 17, 1889, Mrs. C. D. Hendrickson, of childbirth. One of the Baddest things that it has ever been our painful duty to chronicle, is the death of Mrs. C. D. Hendrickson. Only one year and a half ago she carne to this place a beautiful, happy young wife. Since that time her happiness has been the one tbought and care of her devoted husband. Like a beautiful flower, unfolding from bud to bloom, has her life been to those around htr. Too gracious and gentle to ever make aa enemy, she moved along in her beautiful, quiet way beloved by all and alraost worshipped by her now heart-broken bubind and mother. The grief of the stricken hou3ehold of which she was an idol zed member, cannot be measured. Ouly the pitiful Father ia Heaven, who loves us with a love far surpassing anything earthly, can know, and can give peace and comfort in this dreariest hour of trial. The beautiful casket that held the jewel within, was taken to her old home in Ann Arbor, Mich., to be interred among friends who have gone before. It is needless to say that the grief strickeo family have the most heartfelt sympathy of the entire community and the prayers of all God's people, that he will give them strength to bear this heavy burden, and find rest to their souls. - The Smith County, Kansas Bulletin.
