Mrs. J. M. Smith and two little chiljren of Mecosta county. ame home on a visit to her parents in York, Nov. 8. Oa Dec. 1, Bessie, ageti three years, wag taken sick and died Dec. 5, on the 7th the remams beinp interred in the Scony Creek cemetery. Bessle anti Jessie, these were our darlings □ames, Thev were our joy and pride ; But death ha cailed them from our slght, They now sleep bide by side. When they were well with happy, smiling faces. They made our hearts rejoice with ways and smileï so briKht: But they now dweil with the angels. Where all is pure and light. Dear Lord, I know 'tls well. I know tl. ju heardst my prayer; But home and hearts are empty, Without our darlings there.
