Sax Francisco, Jan. 7. - A storm has caused great damage to theOregon Railway & Navigation Company's road Three accidenta, each attonded with fatal resulto, have been reported. Fireman Cross was seriously scalded at Hood river Satarday. Fireman Orvis was killed iñ a col lision betwren a freip-ht anda passenger train near WillowB Saturday night. It is rumored that two mra vvore killed and thirteen persons injured on the same road at Riparia, but tliis is unconfirmed. The flrst train from Spokane in flve days arrived here Sunday afternoon. Eight entines have been demolished on this road. The heaviest snowstorm in years is prevailing1. The thermometer is below zero. Eaksas City, .Io., Jan. 7.- Dispatches from many placos in Kansas and Missouri say that a blizzard of considerable geverity prevails throughout these two States. In Kansas the wind is from the nortiiwest and blows at a high velocity. The temperature is very low, near the zero point, and, although the snow is not falling to any great depth on the leve], it is drifting badly in places. Empoiu.v, Kan., Jan. 7.- The worst blizzard of the season struck this place Sunday and has been in progress ever since, with a fierce northwest wind accompanied by snow. The thermometer feil 52 deprrees in a few hours and Monday morning was as low as 2 i degrees below freezing. The storm continúes and snow lias lallen so deep that it is feared travel on the railroada will be delayed.
