In Memoriam

At a meeting of the members of Forest Hill Cemetery Board, held Jan. 11, 1890, the following resolutions were unacimously adopted : William W. Wines, bom Nov. '20, 181G, died Deo. 21, 1889, for many years a member of, and clerk and treasurer of this board, ever faithful in the discharge of nis duties, earnest and diligent in every effort made to improve and beautify the cemetery, watchful of the funds of which he b7 virtue of his office was the especial guardián, and affable and sourteous to all with whom he carne in oontact, now -leeps beneath the beautiiul .-pot that had for so many yeara received his watehful care, therefore resolved, lat. That in his death this board has lost a faithful and efficiënt member, and Forest Hill Cemetery an earcest and zealous friend. 2d. That in paying ihis passing tribute to his memory we realize that not only has this board lost a faithful member but that the community has lost one of its most honorable and upright citizens, the church one of its most faithful christiens, his neighbors a kind and helpful friend and his family a devoted husband and father. 3d. That these resolutions be spread in full upon the records of this board, and that a copy be pent to the family of the deceesed.
