Chicago, Jan. 11. - Late yesterda? afternoon Attorneys K. M. Wing, Daniel Donahoe and W. S. Forrest filod with the clerk of tho criminal conrt a motion for a new trial in the casos oí Dan Coughlin, Martin Burke, P. O'Sullivaa and John Kunze, convicted of tho murder of Dr. Cronin. The motion was filed in accordanco with the order of Judge McConnell, before whom the argumenta will be made Monday. The motion is very long:. It covers eleven typewritten pages and assigns thirty-nine causes of error in the rullng3 of Judge McConnell during the trial of the case. These grounds oí alteged error embrace every point contested by the attorneys for the defense, and range from an objection to the court's overruling the motion to quash the indictments up to the assertion that the defense has, since the trial, discovered new evidence which ontitles them to a new trial.
