Mr. Eutou: - A. pleasant reminiseenoe of the lamented Dr. Frieze 3 worthy of mention. la 1862-3, while the Presbyterian cIíur'i was nrogressiag towan's completion, Dr. Frieze generously volunteered to train a class of 5 oung ladies and gentlemen in musió, wiih a view to giving one or more concerts for the benefit of an orean fjnd for the new churcb. The cIjss was formed and held thfir rehearsals at the home of Mrs. Heciiy Wells. Two pxcellent concfr's were given, and a fund of $175 to $180 was raised and presented to the chmch. This disintsrested act so characteristic, is ield in grateful remetLbrance by som of the older members of tht cburch.
