For a distance of thirty-ñve miles the canyon is strewn with bedding, dead horses, cattle and hogs, broken wagons, and, in fact, every thing used by the settlers in tho valley. Hundreds of men are searching for and burying the doad and securing the living. It is said the dam will not be robuilt.
