Judge Kinne went to Monroe, Tuesday. L. H. Clement weat to Toledo, Monday. J. L. Stone returned from a trip through Indiana, Saturday. Mrs. Eugene Reynolds, of Milan, is visiting her daughter. S. N. Clement, of Colon, spent Sunday with bis son, L, II. Clement. WaltT Mack returned from a business trip to New York, Sunday atternoon. Ellsworth M. Thomas has gone to kidianapolis to visit friends for a week er ten days. Miss Maude Gates, of Owosso, is spending a week with Miss Hattie Benham, on Liberty-st. J. C. Handy, one of the old eettlers of Ann Arbor, has been seriously ill lor the past few weeks. G-eorge Jacobus and wife, of Toledo, spent the fore part of the week with their Bons ia this city. Theodore Wetzel will go to Durand, next week, to take charge of a drug store for a couple of weeks. Ferd. Bliss, of New York, a former Ann Arbor boy, spent Sanday with the family of W. W. Bliss. Herman and T. F. Hutzel were in Detroit Tuesday, on business connected with the new brick and tile works. Miss Jessie Baboock, of Niles, Mich , is j spending the week in the city, the guest of Miss Potter, 2'2 S Fifth-st. John Ohristiancy has removed' from Dexter to this city, and now has a situation at the agricuhural works. F. S.ihmid, who has been on the eick list for a couple of weeks, is now s fr recovertd that he is abie to attend to business. Miss Minnie Fountain, who has ben gpending the winter with her sister, Mr. B. F. Smiih, wiil return to Chicago, next week. Edior Newkirk, of the Luther Eaterprise, made The Register a pleasant cali, Tuesday. Healihy, prosperous and happy express the rest. Loren Hanion, who for nearly a dozen years cleiked for Bach & Abel, returned Monday and again took his old psition behind the couater for the new flrm of Bach, Abel & Co. Mrs. W Ibar W. ThDmpson, of Rockland, Maine. on her way home from Bay City, where she has spent the past three inonths, visited her couin, the senior proprietor ot tbis paper, ttro days this week. Prof. Delos Fall, of Aibion College, a member of the State Board of Health, is visitiog his brothers in this city. He lectured at Fiint, Mouday eveniĆ¼g, and stopped here a few days before returning to his work at Albion. F. A. Catler was at Toledo, Monday, making arrangements for the opening of the club house on Middle Bass Island, of which he will have charge again this season. Mr. aud Mrs. Cutler will leave for that plaasant eummer resort in about two weeUs.
