LjIbkbtv, Mo., April 12. - Forest fires are raging in the Missouri river bottoms, five miles below here. The flames, ianned by the fierce gale, are gpreading rapidly, and are consuming every thing in tiieir path. The damage is conflnod to the river-bank forest. Atchisox, Kan., April 18. - A disastrous forest fire occurred Friday on the banks oí Whisky creek, two miles south of this city. It started about noon in the underbrush and fanned by a heavy wind spread along the creek for two miles before it could be controlled. The lire spread to the sevoral fruit farms and did greut damage to the trees. At mldnight the llames were under control. Empohia. Kan., April 14. - A prairio flre on Saturday ncitr h re devastated the farms of D. 1!. ise, Randolph Wirts and Henry Plumberger, all of whom lost thelr barns and some of their oattle.
