New London, Conn., June 2S. - The flfteenth annual four miles, straightaway, eight-oared shell race between the Yale and Harvard university crews was rowed Friday evening over the Thames riyer course from Gale's Ferry to Winthrop Point, Yale winning by three and one-half lengths in 21:29. HarvaFd's time, 21:40. This is Yale's fifth successive victory and the record of fourmile races now stands: Yale won nine, Harvard six.
