The committee on transportaron of th G. A. R. of this S ate have arranged wi h the Michigan Central ral oad to carry by special trains to the Boston Nttional Encunpment, all members of the G A. R , W. R. C , SonR of Veterans, or veterans by whatever name they may be called, aud any citizens who may deeire to avail themsulves of thu advantages to be gained in going with the department headquartere. Trains of the finest gleeping ana day coachee will leave Detroit, August 9, in the forenoon, via Michigan Central (Niasaia Falls Rute), New York Central and Boston & Albany railroads, stopping a lew hours at ihe Falls, arriving at Boston early in the aiternoon of August 10. The tare, as dec.ded upon by all roads, will be one rate for the round trip. Siould any cut in rate occur upon any first class roada, the rate will be met over this route.
