Washington, July 23.- Bills were reported favorably in tho Senato yester day to pension the widow.s of Genera John C. Fremont and General George B McClellan at the rato of SW,000 pe annum each. The Indian appropriation bilí was discussed and consideration o the flrst half of it was completed. Washington, July 24. -The Indian appropriation bilí was f urther discussed in the Senate ycsterday, but no action was taken. Washington, July 26. - In the Senate yesterday the Indian appropriation bilí was passed and bilis wero in troduced to fix the limit of valué and to provide for the free coinage o silver, and to pay to Dr. Mary E. Walke 810,000 for her services as assistan surgeon in the United States army during the late war. Washington, July 26. - The time o the Senate yesterday was mostly occu pied in debating the tariff bilí. Sena tor Cockrell (Mo.) presen ted a memoria froni St. Louis, Mo. , protesting agains the passage of the Senate Federal elec tion bill. Wamiiv.ton, July 28.- -The House amendments to the original package bill were non-concurred in by the Sen ate on Saturday and a conference was ordered. Billa were passed granting pensions of 82,000 a year cae!, to the widowa of General Fremont, Genera' McClellan and General Crook. Washington. July 29. - In the Senate yesterday a bill was passed to pension all the Burviving offlcers and men ol Powell'a Battalionof Missouri Mounted Volunteers raised during the war with Mexico. Senator Vest (Jtfo.) made a long address against the tarifT bill. Wasiiiv(;t,,n. Jnly 28.- In the House yesterday the substituto for the Senate original p il was passed by a vote of listo !)T. It provides that any article imported into a State and sold there shall be amenable to the laws oi that State. A bill was favorably reported to créate the ofiice of Fourth Assistant Postmaster-General, at a salary of L4,000 per anuum. Washington, July 24. - In the House yesterday the bankruptcy bilí was considered. In the contested eloction case of Jamos H. McOinnia vs. Jonn B. Alderson. from tho Third district of West Virginia, the committre reported in favor of seating McGinnls (Rep.). Washington, .luly 2.-). - In the House Cesterday the Torrpy bankruptcy bill 'as passed by a vote of 117 to S4. Washington, Jwly üt;. - In the House yesterday tho sundry oivil appropriation bill with Senate amendraents was debatcd. the chief discussion being on the subject of the appropriation for lrrigation survcy. Washington, July 28. -In the House on Saturday the Senate amendments to the sundry civil bill were considered and mauy of them were non-concurred in. The charges made sotue time ao by Mr. Cooper (Ind. ) aainst Pensioner Commissioner Kaum were ordered to be investigated. Wasiun .to.v, July :9.- In the House yesterday the time was mostly occupied in the consideration of the Senato amendments to the sundry civil appropriation bill. A bill to créate a bureau of health and to prevent the introduction and extensión of contagious and infectious diseases in the United States was introduced.
