A Big Bell Cast In Milwaukee

Milwaukee, Sept. 23.- A bell weighing 10,500 pounds has been cast in this city for the Wisconsin Central's new depot in Chicago. It is said to be the largest American bell cast since 1863 and is the tliird largest in the country, none of the bells now in Chicago comparing with it. In a suitable location on land it is estimated that the bell can be heard ten miles and twenty miles on the water.
