Fighting Democrats

The democratie county convention has been in J session to-day. The "ring" triumphed and Brown received eiehty-one votes for county clerk on tue first ballot. The other county officers were renominated as a matter of course. Many of the leading demócrata openly assert that they wül not vote for Brown, and the success of the republican nominee is almoat certain.
