IĆ­km.evim.e, 111., Oct. 6. - While out nutting Saturday afternoon seven miles east of this city, on the Mascoutah road, Lorenz Karius and Lorenz Mueteren carne across the senseless bodies of a negro man of 70 and nis daughter, aged 40, with their throats cut fvom ear to ear. The woman revived sufflciently to teil a horrible story of crime. She said that they were attacked whilo sleeping by an unknown man, who cut their throats and robbed them of all the money they had- three dollars. Subsequently tho man died - the woman can not live.
