John Koch is quite seriously UI. Mrs. E. M. Irish is visiting in Kalamazoo. J. J, Gibaon was in Detroit on Monday. N. J. Kyer and wifo spent Monday in Detroit. Wm. Fcwler, of Detroit, spent last week with A. 1). Seyler. Charles Kaichen has returned from his western trip. Julius V. Seyler, of Detroit, spent Sunday with his fatlier. J. C. Watts, of Saginaw, was in the city the firstof the week. Miss Cbristine Krause has resnmed work at Schairer & Millen's. Rev. T. Viet, of Tavistock, Ont, has been visiting Mrs. C. F. Spring. Mrs, Rev. F. Volz, of Saginaw, is visiting her mother, Mrs. C. F. Spring. Mrs. M. C. LeBeau leaves to-morrow for a visit at ïionroeville, Ohio. Mrs. N. D. Cochrane, of Toledo, spent Sunday with her father, John Moore. Mrs. B. Beer and son, of North Platt, Neb., are visiting S. S. Blitz and family. LI. F. Griffin, law '89, of Syracuse, N. Y., is visiting the Misses Clancy, of Lawrence-st. Col. H. S. Dean attended the meeting of the state prison inspectors at Jackson on Tuesday. Last week Mr. and Mrs. S. J. Guerin entertained Mesdames. Hunter, Freer and Guerin, of Chelsea. W. H. Trombley, of Mt. Clements, bas been visiting his brother, E. E. Trombley, of the Two Sams. M. Duke returned on Friday from Monroe, where he has been spending the past two or three weeks. Gilbert Bliss leaves today for a business trip to St. Louis, Kansas City and Denver. He will be gone two weeks. Mrs. V. A. Reddick.J of Niles, and Mrs. A. Teasdale, of Detroit, spent last week with their sister, Mrs. A. S.Berry, of Ingallsfc. S. W. Beakes left on Tueeday morning for New York, where he will spend several days. Mrs. Beakes 'will return with him. Geo. Gruner and wife, who have been visiting John Koch and family, returned to their home in Portland Oregon, on Monday last. ' Jacob Rohs and Chas. Dewitz, who have been spending the past three weeks with Fred Graf and family, returned to Chicago yesterday. Mrs. C. H. Contoit, of Boscobel, Wisconsin, is visiting her sister, Mrs. Barnett, of Jewett-ave. This is their first meeting in thirty-four years. Mrs. AV. W. Wines and daughters, Mrs. Hadley and Miss Fanny, returned on Friday last from Sag Harbor, where they have been spending the summer.
