Peouia, UI, Oct. 4.- The Illinoi3 State fair closed hero Friday aftor a most succnssful five-days' run. Thero were about 40,000 people on thegrounds. One of the members of the fair association said that they would clear fully $15,000. They have paid out in premiums $27,500, and there was great expense in fitting up the grounds.
