In the Traverse I!ay roción enough potatoes hiva been grown to supply several Siatej, while throusfh the central part of the northern district such a erop as the one tuis year has rarely been gathered. Last yea all the potatoes wanted could havo been h;ul fur from 10 to 15 cents a bushei, tha erop in other parts of the country being large; but this yoar the erop being a partial failure ejsewhere will run prices up. The farmers are receiving from 65 cents to ,75 cents a bushei delivered on board the cars.
