School opensnextMonday with Perry Tounsand as teacher. George Kutbruff.of Ann Arbor, spent a few days with us laat week. The personal property of John Zeeb was Bold at public auction Tuesday. Miss Minnie Shuart gave a card party to her young friends Friday evening. Miss Vira Camp returned Saturday from a two weeks' visit with friends in Flint. A meeting of the Patrons of Industry was held at Superior town hall Tuesday night. C. L. Downer recently purchased a fine trotting horse of L. J. Liesemer, of Ann Arbor. Charlie Nanery, of this place, was married to Miss Teesie Smith, of Northfield, Wednesday. Rans. Tounsand had twelve turkeys stolen Friday night. The thieves were tracked to Plymouth. The frienda of Mr. Willie Weed, of Geddes, gave him a pleasant surprise Friday evening. About seventy-five couples were present, among whom were Charles Charlton, of Detroit, Miss Eva and Messrs. Burt and Chas. Young, of Deaborn, Miss Nellie Duggan, of Willis, Mr. Seely, of Dexter, Misses Josie üunn, Lizzie Shadford, Edith and Mattie Iluddy, of Ann Arbor, and a number from' here. Dancing was the order of the evening.
