Mayor Peck Resigns

Mii.waukee, Nov. 18. - (ieorge W. Peck, Governor-elect of Wisconsin, late Monday afternocn sent to the common council his resignation as mayor oí Milwaukee. Ilis resig-nation was accepted. The eleotion to fiil the vacancy will take place December 10. Peter J. Somera, president of the council, will act as mayor until that time.
