Louisvii.i.E, Ky., üec. 15. - One of the most noted cases in the criminal annals of Kentueky has just ended at Vanceburg by the conviction of John Blyew for a quudruple murder committed over twentyyearsago. The crime, the killing of four uegroes. nasa cold-blooiled and unprovoked une, but as it was committed only a short time after the war. when laws were lux anda bitter feellngexisted auinst the eolored race in the üouth, no eflort ;it proaeeution was made. Subsequently, however, long after the particulars of the crime had been forgotten, an indictment was found, but the case lias been in the eourts for a number of years, and is only just ended. Blyew was given a life Bentence in the peuitentiary.
