The Cily of Washington is an objec of perennial interest to all patriotic Americana. Not alone because it is the great throbbing heart of the mightiesi and grandest Republic the earth hus ever known, but also on account of its material magnificence. All Americans take pride in its beautifnl avenues, maestic architecture, stately homes, and well stored galleries and museums as things of grandeur and beauty in them. selves, apart from the historie interes' with which they are inve&ted.
