Panama, Jan. 9. - By advices from Guatemala it appears that the epidemie of small-pox which lias ravaged several cities has abated. It has been the cause of over 20,000 deaths, aecording to the accounts in possession of the Government. There is now a demand on the part of the medical facxilty for the establishment of compulsory vaccination.
