Death Of A Veteran Of 1812

Nashvii.le, Tenn., Jan. 17. - Lewia Landers, the oldest eitizen of Limestone County, died at the residence of bis daughter in Shoalford Beat Thursday afternoon. He was almost ready to celébrate his 90th birthday. He was a soldier in the war of 1812 and was with General Jackson at the battle of New Orleans. He enjoyed fine health all his life.
