Besides the new houses already mentioned by The Register many others have been commeuced or prjeeted. If the prospects continuo to !:e as favorable as they are now, Ann Arbor will this year make even a better record than she did in 1890. During the past season 106 houses weie erected. It ia prophesied that before January 1, 1892, between 150 and 200 new bouses will have been erected or commenced in tlii.s city. Thefollowing improyements niay be mentioned among others: C. H. Sheehan, Packard and State-sts, new house; $2,500; C. -. Milieu, Lawrence-st, remodelini; hou3f; $2,000; Jira. Sarah S. Nichols, Madibon ht, new house, $1, 500; Mrs. John Schuhmacher, North-st, new house, $2,500; Messrs. Cheever, ïreadwell and Gruner, Main and William-sts, two new houses, $3,600; Mrs. E. A. Rathbone.Twelfth and Hillsts, new house, $2,500; G. M. Henion, Thompson-st, new house, $2,700; Filibert Roth, Packard and Ötatests, new house, $2,100; Thomas B. Wilson, East University-ave, new house, $1,500; Henning, '1 hompson-st, new house, $3,000; Martin Iialler,Main-6t, new house, $3,ö00; Fred Retticb, Huron-st, new house $3;500; Mrs. M. A.
