New York. April '27. - Rev. f. De Witt Talmage'a new tabernacle located at the corner of Grant and Clinton aveijliés, Brooklyn, one of the finest locatiOns in the city, was opened tohis conÍCfration and the public for the first timfe Sunday ïnornin. Thero were three important dedicatory services held during the day and thousands of people crowded the big edifico at each one. The building is 200 ïeet long by 118 wide, and it is Roraanesque in its style of architecture. It is built of brick and stone. The main entrance is at the corner of Green and Clinton avenues, and at this point is a handsome tower. The building extends through to Waverly place, but the rear part is usod for elass rooms and Sunday school. The interior of the church has two fralleries and will seat 5,500 persons. The organ, which co'st 0,000, is directly back of the preacher's platform. 1 'p to date the total cost of the cburen !s $410,000 and it will require 940,000 more i" ■ omplete it.
