As Tuvnkey Tchrer entered the cell of two colored tramps who were awaiting trial for attempted burglary, to remove their breakíast dishes, he was set upon and a desperate attempt made to secure his keya and thna to escape. The oflicor in the fight shot both men. One was killed instantly and the other will die.
