Burst In Mid Air

St. Petkrsiíim'.g, June 38. - A terrible balloon accident occurred Sunday in the suburbs of this city by which íour lives were lost. The balloon, which was a large one and belonged to Count Apraxini'. was filled with gas under the supervisión of a party of amateurs. They lost control oí the unwieldy globe, and it suddenly shot into the air, carrylng with it four men. The balloon rose with tremendous swiftness and had attained a great "height when it burst and the four oceupants of the car camc whlrllng down and were dashed to instant death on the earth below. Large numbers of people had pativredto watch the ascensión and were witnesses of the whole horrible affair.
