The board of edueation raet Tuesday evening. Bills to the amount of $601.68 were allowed. Mr. Ferrier was appointed janitor of the Tappan schoolIn place of Prof. Leutwein, Misses Gundert iyid Marschke were appointed teachers of Germán. Miss Hamilton takes the place of Miss Wines, resigned. Misses Clinton and Feiner will serve as substitute teachers. The board were informeJ that Miss Banfield would resign the po8ition of writing teacher unless her salary were fixed at $500 a year. The committee on buildings and grounds were authorized to connect the high school building with the University sewer. at an expense of $700.
